I’ve always tattooed from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne having two shops in Lilydale and two shops in Ringwood. Each time the business has progressed into larger and better studios until the current locations where we have two spacious extremely well equipped studios to offer the customer the best available in tattooing and body piercing. Body Language is not your average body piercing or tattoo studio. Of course we’re health department approved and use only brand new needles for each client. We also use the latest high tech colours from overseas. All the staff have combined their knowledge and experience in professional service and customer satisfaction to create an environment to rival any body art studio anywhere in the world. Both Body Language studios have an enormous amount of body jewellery on display – over 1000 different styles in all sizes and if that doesn’t satisfy you, we’ll get it in for you or manufacture a piece without delay. We cater for all types of body piercings, even the rarest, on a daily basis. All the nine staff members are fully trained piercers and we only sell and recommend Pro Pierce and Wildcat body jewellery.

At the Ringwood studio we cater for all situations with three large work areas and two private areas upstairs. Two waiting areas complete with frame after frame of designs and photos of our art can help you with your choice of tattoo. At both locations we cater for all requests from elaborate custom bodysuits in all styles right down to the $50 rose off the wall. All of us are happy to indulge you in whatever your choice as that’s the most important thing to us, giving you what you want.

The crew have over 40 years combined experience as tattooists and all have started, trained and are pursuing their careers at Body Language. We are all at your disposal for professional advice anytime (my mobile’s on 24 hours a day). And a bit about me? Well my work time is spent between tattooing, body piercing, administration, jewellery importing and as the publisher and editor of Tattoos Down Under magazine.

Now importantly a word about the people who make this all tick, the Body Language crew. I’m extremely lucky to have such a loyal, competent and reliable team of body art professionals to work with. Everyone here has diverse talents and most of the staff have at one time or another doubled as photographers and writers for Tattoos Down Under magazine.
